What is climate-controlled and do I need it?
Climate controlled storage units are temperature controlled so your treasured belongings are not exposed to extreme temperatures. Our climate controlled facilities are housed in an indoor finished building where dirt and dust are less likely to penetrate. This type of environment is ideal for storing furniture, photographs, discs/records, electronics, and other items.
Do I need to have a lock?
You provide the lock ensuring that you, and only you, have access. Don’t have a lock? No problem, we offer a wide range of locks, packing and moving supplies to make your move stress-free. Even better, we offer all of these great moving supplies at very affordable prices.
Do I need insurance for my stored goods?
Yes, you are responsible for those items you store at TakeCare and insurance for those items is required. We offer affordable self storage insurance options at the facility. In the event that you are already covered, a copy of the declaration’s page must be available at the time of rental.
How do I get my items to the unit?
Many of our locations have extra wide drive aisles, allowing your rental truck or movers easy access to our facilities. We offer FREE moving trolleys, hand-carts and/or dollies at many of our facilities. We recommend contacting one of our helpful managers to check truck and hand cart availability.
What Size Available?
What sizes are available and how do I pick my size?
We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your storage needs. TakeCare unit sizes range from 5x5 sf, or 25 sf, to 10x30 sf, or 300 sf. Determining the size of your storage needs is easy with the help from our facility manager. If you need further assistance, ask one of our facility managers who are trained to assist you in this process.

A 10-day written notice is required prior to vacating the unit.
